It’s that time of the year again in northern Arizona. The time where our glorious weather reminds us why we call this beautiful desert home. It’s also a reminder that we need to get outdoors to enjoy the scenic and historic wonders our state offers. One such wonder can be found right here in Flagstaff, Arizona not too far from your Flagstaff hotel, the Wupatki National Monument. This national treasure is an illustrious testament of the Native America culture. At one point the ancient pueblo dwellings housed both the Anasazi and Sinagua tribes. Located near the San Francisco Peaks this is one adventure that you’re going to need your camera and extra batteries for. Oh and a healthy amount of sunscreen wouldn’t hurt either.
